Home™ Summer School & Camp 2010

Aley, Lebanon

C-Pi® offers students the opportunity to spend an enjoyable and constructive summer holiday through its Summer School and Camp 2010 in Aley, Republic of Lebanon. This camp is established in partnership with one of Lebanon’s premier international schools-namely, the Universal College-Aley and is modeled on the safe, structured, and monitored environment of C-Pi®’s Summer School and Camp in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

  • Lebanon Summer Home2010
Up in the mountains of Lebanon is the striking locality of Aley that for decades has established itself as both a tourist getaway and an educational gateway. The town itself is unmatched in its natural beauty and serenity, and cuddled up in its centre is the legendary Universal College-Aley, a learning community that was established in 1907. In the Late 1990s, the college became a member school in the vast network of prestigious international private schools operated by the world renowned education provider: Educational Services Overseas Limited (ESOL). ESOL brought the college into the 21st Century with a vast renewal and restoration project that did not take away from its old charm but added the necessary technologies and systems that would bring it in line with ESOL’s international standards. Now, the Universal College-Aley will host C-Pi®’s Home™ Summer School and Camp-Lebanon 2010 in partnership with ESOL.

  • Boarding Facilities
Student accommodation has been arranged in safe and secure dormitories, with round-the-clock supervision by a specialist team of educators, to ensure a safe, enhanced experience of camp-life in a miniature society based on friendship and family spirit. Just like the Home™ Boarding School in Dubai, the Lebanon Camp is managed and supervised by educators referred to as Third Parentsä. These specialist teachers become akin to ‘Third Parents’ to their students, living with them, catering to their day-to-day needs, and providing them with a support program that emphasizes character-building and empowerment. C-Pi® is distinguished for its progressive and unique concept of Third Parentä, and its educators apply the fundamental ‘caring’ aspect to all students.

  • Morning Classes
Morning classes are held for four lessons on a daily basis, Monday through Friday. Students may choose from a variety of academic subjects, with courses designed either to solidify and strengthen their knowledge structure through a revision of material studied at school during the current academic year, or to provide them with a head-start on material that will be covered at school the following academic year. Students may also take advantage of C-Pi®’s reputed Accelerated Foundation Courses in English and Math. These specially designed modules are geared at boosting skills in both these subjects effectively. Alternatively students may opt for extra-curricular courses that will enhance their general knowledge and expand their interests. All courses are conducted by teams of teachers that specialize in British, American, and international curricula.

  • Recreational Activities, Competitive Leagues, and Trips
During the afternoon, the camp offers students a vibrant program that includes poetry fairs, art shows, science exhibitions, games, competitive league sports (basketball, swimming, horse-riding etc), painting and artwork, music and singing, computer and technology clubs and much more. During the evenings, visits are organized to leisure and cultural locations around Aley and the neighboring towns with weekend trips to other parts of Lebanon.

  • Visit Visa facilities for International Students
C-Pi® offers students residing outside the Lebanon the opportunity to visit Beirut to attend Homeä by facilitating their entry into the Republic of Lebanon and arranging visit visas for the duration of their enrollment period.
