When C-Pi® Education embarked on the creation of the Scholae™ boarding school model in 2001, it was in the belief that traditional day and boarding schools, as we know them today, are ineffective and outdated. C-Pi® expected that at some point the education industry as a whole would move towards establishing a hybrid school model that would combine technology-based learning (such as online schooling) with brick-and-mortar classroom mentoring. This model, which we called Scholae™, would save teachers and students time. It would shorten the academic delivery part of the school day making time for the introduction of other critical professional learning experiences for future readiness. Students would get the opportunity to work on developing character and engaging in real-world work that embeds professionalism, leadership and entrepreneurship into student’s graduation portfolio! At C-Pi® we knew that, sooner or later, other industry leaders would reach a similar conclusion. In 2026, we crossed paths with one such education group and partnered with them on their boarding school established in Montreux, Switzerland. It fit the C-Pi® Boarding Scholae™ model perfectly!

A School System centered around Character Development

Starting 2026, our partner boarding school in Montreux will allow boys and girls ages 14 to 17 years of all nationalities to come to Montreux, Switzerland to live in a safe, structured, and monitored educational environment. The Montreux residency is on the beautiful grounds of a massive Swiss chateau built in the late 1780s that can house up to 150 students in renovated dormitories that are monitored around the clock. The grounds themselves are massive and come with a full-size football field, basketball, volleyball and tennis courts. The school’s students acquire essential learning and working habits that encourage the natural development of individual talent, self-organization, self-discipline, and time-management. At its core, the boarding school offers a proprietary school model summarized in training students to divide their day into four parts: The first part ensures that students get access to a world-class academic program that offers personalized pacing from an outstanding faculty; the second part of the day students dedicate to turning their knowledge into action through practical mentored learning that builds real-world skills; the third part they dedicate to a professional development program that builds their character, capability and confidence by turning their ideas into action! This unique program is delivered in six main strands: imagination, movement, planet, action, character and technology leading students to graduate with a rich portfolio of their work experience even before they graduate. As with our Dubai Scholae™, the fourth and final part of the day is dedicated to getting a good night’s sleep.

Full Boarding Hybrid Model

In its first year, our Montreux partner boarding school will offer full boarding from Grades 9 to 12. Students can choose to study the American curriculum leading to the American High School Diploma or the British (Cambridge International) leading to the IGCSE and A-Levels, or International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma program utilizing the Eastwood Global platform licensed by the International Baccalaureate Organization. All curricula are supported online and in-house by an exceptional team of educators that provide around-the-clock support to students. The rest of the day and evening are dedicated to true human development through mentor support, sporting, cultural and recreational activities and trips as well as weekend excursions that promote student empowerment, character growth and overall wellness that sets the Scholae™ model apart from other schools.

Campus Facilities and Safeguarding

Our partner boarding school in Switzerland meets the highest standards of safety and security and is made up of more than 80 double rooms (two separate beds). Every student is allocated a bed with storage drawers, cupboard and working desk with communal toilet facilities. While the showers are not ensuite too, they have been designed to offer privacy and ample changing space. In all our Scholae™, our students do their own housekeeping, learning to keep their rooms clean and tidy, do their own washing and ironing! While boarders are provided with three meals daily served in fully equipped dining halls, they will have access to the kitchen where they learn to cook with the school’s Michelin Starred chef! The remainder of the vast campus includes classrooms, game rooms, social suites, and a sophisticated sports and fitness center that students use for their sporting, cultural and recreational activities. Students are supervised by live-in mentors that cater to their student’s day-to-day needs, following-up on their academic and social progress. Of course, and as with our Dubai Scholae™, our partner boarding school in Montreux, Switzerland maintains stringent Safeguarding and Child Protection standards.

Switzerland Visas and School Certificate Attestations

To study at our Swiss partner boarding school, students are required to obtain a Swiss Residency to ensure that their school certificates are recognized and attested by the local education authority in Montreux. The school will provide families with the necessary documentation to assist with their children’s visa and residency.

Fee Structure

Fees for the academic year 2026/2027:

• Full Boarding Program - Includes: Schooling fees, accommodation on twin-sharing basis, three meals per day, laundromat access, on-campus sporting activities, cultural clubs, recreational functions, and external trips within Dubai and UAE.

Admission Procedure & Requirements

Requirements:

-- A completed application form

-- Copy of student's passport, including Schengen visa or Swiss Residency (if issued). If the student is not yet a resident, the passport copy must be the one that will be used to obtain the Swiss residency.

-- A copy of the student's birth certificate

-- Two years of previous school records (if available)

-- An original transfer certificate issued by current school

-- The student’s most recent original report card
